Projects and bookings valued over $699 require a 30% non-refundable deposit to secure the scheduled date and time. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the project and prior to delivery of final images or media content. Deposits are refundable only if High Trail Media cancels the project or fails to deliver the agreed minimum deliverables.
For projects valued under $700, no deposit is required. Full payment is due once the client is notified that final images or content are ready for delivery. Final images, videos, and media content will not be delivered until payment has been received in full.
By booking a session or project with High Trail Media through the website, phone call, email, social media, Thumbtack, Yelp, or any other communication platform, the client acknowledges and agrees to the Terms & Conditions outlined on this website. A separate signed contract may be provided for larger commercial projects or at the discretion of High Trail Media.
Clients who cancel a project or session that required a deposit must provide at least 48 business hours' notice prior to the scheduled shoot. Deposits are non-refundable unless High Trail Media cancels the project or fails to deliver the agreed minimum deliverables.
For projects or sessions that did not require a deposit, cancellations made within 48 business hours of the scheduled shoot are subject to a $40 cancellation fee.
If High Trail Media cancels a session due to weather, illness, equipment failure, or other unforeseen circumstances, no cancellation fee will apply. If a deposit was collected and the project cannot be reasonably rescheduled, the deposit will be refunded in full.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, High Trail Media retains the copyright and ownership of all photographs, videos, and media content created during commissioned projects. Clients are granted a non-exclusive license to use delivered content for personal, marketing, advertising, MLS, website, social media, and promotional purposes related to their business or project.
High Trail Media reserves the right to use created content for portfolio display, website use, social media, marketing, advertising, competitions, and self-promotional purposes unless exclusive usage rights are granted in writing.
High Trail Media will make reasonable efforts to provide professional photography and media services in a timely and reliable manner. However, High Trail Media shall not be held liable for circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to weather conditions, venue restrictions, equipment failure, scheduling delays, acts of God, or unforeseen interruptions that may impact the project or final deliverables.
In the event of technical failure, accidental loss, or inability to deliver content, liability shall be limited to the amount paid by the client for the affected project or session. High Trail Media is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use delivered content.
Due to the creative and custom nature of photography and media services, refunds are not provided once a project or session has been completed and delivered. However, High Trail Media will make reasonable efforts to address legitimate concerns related to editing, image quality, or agreed deliverables. Requests for minor revisions or re-edits should be submitted within a reasonable timeframe after delivery.
Reshoots are offered at the discretion of High Trail Media and may be subject to additional fees depending on the circumstances, location, travel requirements, or requested changes.
